About the Author:
Mary Beth Stevens is an author, artist, musician and Dog Mom. Much of her professional career was spent in public relations and marketing, and she has degrees in music from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Boston University. She has sung with Boston s Cantata Singers for over 20 years, where her participation has extended beyond the stage to the board room, including a four-year tenure as Board Chair. She volunteers for Great Dog Rescue New England (GDRNE), and she and her dog Suzie regularly visit hospice patients as part of Suzie s work as a Certified Therapy Dog. Mary Beth recently began to explore the world of fine art with a special focus on watercolor painting, nature journaling and sketchbook art, and she also enjoys yoga, gardening, reading, and walking in the woods with her beloved pups. Mary Beth and her husband Robert live north of Boston with Tippy, Suzie and Peter-the-Cat (R.I.P. Toby.) Tippy Finds a Home is her first book, but the animals in her life are a constant source of inspiration future Tippy books are a definite possibility!
